This site (johnwest.live) belongs to John West, an independent musician. By using it you agree to the following.

Music. All original songs, recordings and related material on this site — including demo tracks under /listen/ — are written and produced by John West, using Suno AI as a production tool for vocal and instrumental performances. © 2026 John West. All rights reserved. Tracks shared for private listening (for example, on the listen page) are for that purpose only — please don't download, redistribute or publish them elsewhere without asking first.

No warranty. This site is provided as-is. I've tried to keep it accurate and working, but I don't guarantee it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that gig dates and details won't change — always double check event details with the venue or festival directly.

Changes. I may update these terms or the site itself at any time without notice. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.

Privacy Policy

What this site collects. This is a static site with no user accounts and no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind — I don't know who visits, and nothing here sets tracking cookies.

Contact form. If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent directly to my inbox by email (via AWS) so I can reply to you. That's it — there's no database behind the form, and I don't add you to a mailing list or share your information with anyone else. Your message lives in my email like any other email would. To keep out automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that doesn't use tracking cookies; Cloudflare's own Turnstile privacy policy applies to it.

Hosting. This site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). Like virtually any web host, the underlying infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps — for security and reliability purposes. That's infrastructure-level logging, not something I actively collect or review about individual visitors.

Third-party links. Some links on this site (streaming platforms, festival pages, venues, maps) lead to other websites with their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.
